Shaffer Creative Grant (Syracuse University, 2008)
Awarded grant to purchase a stereoscopic 3D video headset in order to experiment with augmented reality scenarios. This grant was instrumental in the development of several works including The Tourist.

Artist in Resident Experimental Television Center. 2004. Owego, NY. (2004)
Created motion tracking application for ETC which culminated in an overall comprehension of similar programming techniques later used in several works.

Teaching Experience
Adjunct Professor Digital Video Editing. Marymount College PV. (2010-11)
Taught intermediate level video editing course designed to provide a foundation in non-linear video editing, distribution of video content, and HD video production workflows. A historical and current outlook of video art is also covered in the class.

Adjunct Professor Culture Jamming. Transmedia Syracuse University. (2009)
Designed curriculum based on graduate research in the field of culture jamming. Students were asked to complete culture jamming projects including a mock billboard liberation and shop dropping action. Facilitated discussions based on selected readings, actions, and screenings concerning the Trickster, Situationism, Media Intervention, Hacktivism, Pirate Radio, etc.

Graduate Teaching Assistant Wearable Technologies & Responsive Environments. COLAB Syracuse University. (2008-09)
TA interdisciplinary classes focused on integrating electronics and programming into the skill sets of artists and designers. Constructed in-class workshops, collaboratively designed computer programming curriculum, documented class exhibitions and in-progress materials, tutored students in Arduino microcontroller, C, and Max/MSP. One group was featured in the NY Times for their award winning design.

Participated in a group of graduate and undergraduate teachers who conducted workshops, lessons, and historical presentations about photography at Nottingham High School in Syracuse, NY.

Arts+Media Technology Coordinator Marymount College Rancho Palos Verdes, CA (6/10- Current)
Maintain the facilities of the Arts+Media B.A. division. Responsibilities include the configuration of computer hardware/software, management of A/V production equipment checkout procedures and maintanence, maintenance of the division's website, coordination of electronic student portfolios, aquisition of technological resources, and the tutoring of students and faculty on computer software. I also manage several student workers who staff the computer labs and equipment room and aide in the creation of student portfolios.

Computer Art Lab Manager Syracuse University. (8/08 - 5/10)
Duties include hiring and scheduling work study lab monitors. Administer 18 Apple Computers including delivery of installation of software and hardware, software update packages, and Applecare maintenance.

Advised Internet Marketing Seminar Staff on the role of Internet Video and establishing their service to an online market. Produced several videos for client and created a vlog to distribute content.

Administered and authored blog posts in an online community about Apple, Inc. products and services. Wrote over 150 reviews and tutorials for those who wanted to learn more about their Mac. Built and maintained the site from the ground up as it grew to over 500,000 visitors strong.
